This week’s got some interesting new releases and things going on. Kamelot‘s latest release, Poetry for the Poisoned, came out today. Cramer claims he’ll be doing a CD review so look out for that. On a related note, as we said on our show, they postponed their tour (unfortunately) because the lead singer is currently sick. BUMMER.

This week also marks the anniversary of the Release of Pantera‘s breakthrough album Cowboys From Hell. It’s a classic and it’s great to see something special being done for such an important album.

The last tidbit that I was able to scrounge up is that All That Remains has a new single entitled “Hold On” which is due to release on their new album, …For We Are The Many which is due out October 12th.

Here’s a video of the title track from All That Remains’ new album. Personally, I think this one sounds a lot stronger that “Hold On” and I’m hoping the rest of the album is as solid as this track.

Still having internet troubles, so apologies for the tardiness. No doubt everyone’s heard the news about Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater. ‘Tis a truly sad thing to see, as he is a huge part of the band. I really hope they can move on and stay relevant, but without him, I just don’t know how possible that is. I don’t want to take away from the rest of the band, as they are all fantastic musicians, but without Portnoy, I just can’t see DT being the same as before. Metal Ultimecia wishes him and Dream Theater the best of luck with their future projects.

Sorry about the delay in posting, Cramer’s lazy and I’ve been without internet, ha. Nevertheless we’ll perservere and keep the blog as up-to-date as we can. Also, going by show numbers, this is our 3rd, hence the ‘III’ in the post title. Here’s Monday’s playlist, and don’t forget to tune in again next week for more metal awesomeness!
